Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Seymour Innovations, LLC ("LoadLogger," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the LoadLogger website at loadlogger.app and the LoadLogger application at app.loadlogger.app (together, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information — your name, email address, business name, and the password you set when you register.
- Fleet and driver information — driver names, the email addresses you use to invite drivers, dispatcher and broker names, and default rate settings you enter for your operation.
- Trip and load data — the load details, mileage, rates, fees, notes, and similar information you record in the calculator and trip logger.
- Support and contact messages — the name, email address, and message content you submit through our contact form or send to us by email.
Payment information
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. Stripe provides us with limited billing information such as your subscription status, plan, the last four digits of your card, and billing contact details. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — such as your browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the dates and times you access the Service.
- Cookies — we use a small number of cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We do not use advertising cookies.
- Log data — our hosting provider records server logs, including IP addresses, as part of normal operation and security monitoring.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account.
- To process your subscription and send billing-related notices.
- To send transactional email — for example, account verification, driver invitations, password resets, and responses to your support requests.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
- To understand how the Service is used so we can improve it.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, trip data, or driver information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
3. How information is shared
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed for them to perform their function:
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
- Postmark — delivery of transactional and contact-form email.
- Our web host — hosting of the website, application, and database.
- ZIP code / location lookup provider — to convert the ZIP codes you enter into city and state values in the trip logger. Only the ZIP code is sent.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to lawful requests from public authorities, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LoadLogger, our users, or others. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Data retention
We keep your account and trip data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription or your trial ends, you have 90 days to reactivate and pick up where you left off. After 90 days, we remove the personal details from the account — your name, email address, and login credentials — so you can no longer be identified from it or sign in. De-identified trip and load records may be retained for analysis, and some records may be kept longer where required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit over HTTPS and access controls that limit who can view your data. Within your account, drivers can only see their own trips and reports; only Admins can see data across all drivers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction — you can view and update most of your account and trip information directly in the Service.
- Deletion — you can cancel your account at any time; your personal details are removed after the 90-day retention window described above. To request earlier removal, contact us through our contact page.
- Email preferences — transactional emails are part of the Service and cannot be turned off while your account is active.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To exercise any such right, contact us through our contact page and we will respond as required by applicable law.
7. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business use by adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. International users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be processed and stored in the United States.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy.
